UUFSC - an Uncommon Denomination.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City, New Mexico is a diverse group of religious independents seeking knowledge, spiritual sustenance, fellowship and opportunities for service to others.

People of every lifestyle and ideology are welcome here. There is no creed, theological or political, to which one must subscribe for virtue or acceptance. Our Fellowship celebrates diversity and welcomes all, of every race, ethnicity, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious background, mental and physical ability or disability, socioeconomic condition and family structure. Varying points of view enrich the congregation through the free exchange of ideas and minds.

Our purpose is to further individual freedom of belief, encourage spiritual growth, search openly for truth, and serve others.

The Seven Principles of
Unitarian Universalism

The inherent worth and dignity of every person;

Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;

Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;

A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;

The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;

The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;

Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
